The RB5040NH is a short narrow-handle ratchet buckle designed for use with 50mm webbing. It has a breaking strength of 5000kg and features a durable, non-locking ratchet mechanism with an aluminium handle.
The base of the ratchet includes a 10mm hole, allowing it to be securely bolted to permanent structures. This compact design makes it ideal for use in tight spaces, with its primary applications being on car transporters and car recovery vehicles.
The RB5040NH meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001, which specifies a lashing capacity of 25kN (2500kg). This capacity is stamped on the ratchet, along with the supplier’s name, GTF®, and the part number RB5040NH for full traceability. The breaking strength of 5000kg is also marked, indicating the maximum load the buckle can withstand before failure.
Manufactured from carbon steel, the RB5040NH is designed for use with 50mm webbing. It has a lashing capacity of 25kN and weighs 900 grams (0.900kg).
The RB5040NH ratchet is used in our range of car recovery straps and car transporter straps. GTF® also offers a selection of 50mm end fittings and 50mm polyester webbing that can be used in conjunction with this ratchet buckle.
