Ratchet Buckle 50mm 5000Kgs Narrow Handle
The RB5040NH is a short narrow handle ratchet buckle designed for 50mm webbing. It has a breaking strength (BS) of 5000Kg. The ratchet buckle is a non-locking ratchet and has an aluminium handle. The ratchet has a 10mm hole in the base to allows the ratchet to be bolted to permanent structures. The ratchet buckle is used in places where space is an issue, their main use is on car transporters and car recovery vehicles.
The ratchet meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the buckle to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 25kN (2500kg) stamped on the ratchet together with the suppliers name GTF and part number RB5040NH for full traceability. The breaking strength (BS) of 5000Kg is also shown to indicate the maximum load that can be applied to the buckle before failure. The RB5040NH is very similar to our RB5040NH-1
