Ratchet Straps

UK manufacturer of Ratchet Straps that has been in the load restraint business since 1986. GTF manufactures a comprehensive range of 25mm, 35mm, 50mm and 75mm cargo straps. We produce these either as one part endless ratchet straps or a two part strap with end fittings; offer standard carbon steel straps, stainless steel straps, plastic straps and strap winders. We make small ratchet straps all the way up to heavy duty ratchet straps with 10 ton breaking load. All these are manufactured at our UK factory based in Eastbourne.

Bespoke Straps
A comprehensive range of webbing tie down straps with either standard, ergonomic reverse action, stainless steel or other specialist types of ratchet buckle plus multiple end fittings suitable for every type of application are available.  End fittings are manufactured at GTF®’s own subsidiary company in India. Webbing types, colours and capacities cover the full range of potential every day operations, name and logo printing for added security as well as the fitment of wear sleeves or the supply of corner protectors to protect webbing from abrasive conditions. In fact, because they are made in Eastbourne, you can have whatever you want very quickly.

Material and equipment used by GTF does not skimp on quality. Webbing is made from German or UK manufactured high tenacity polyester, UV stabilised and resistant to mineral acids. Many of the end fittings are manufactured from boron steel wire and finished on robotic welding machines to ensure consistency of manufacture. Ratchet buckles are sourced from reputable manufacturers with whom GTF® has been doing business for years. This results in GTF® being able to offer a very comprehensive range of ratchet types. As proof of this dedication to quality GTF® is also a major supplier of individual cargo restraint components to the load restraint trade.

Examples of specialist ratchet straps produced by GTF® include car recovery and transporter straps, stainless steel marine environment assemblies, specialist reverse action heavy duty straps and corrosion resistant plastic straps. Bespoke straps made to customer specification can be produced in any length, a variety of colours and with the customer’s name and logo printed onto webbing.  In addition, customised identification labels can be sewn into the straps themselves.
Testing
GTF® has its own test facilities which feature a 50 tonne test rig where regular testing of production samples and other manufacturer’s products takes place.

Every system manufactured at Eastbourne complies to the European Load Restraint Standard EN12195-2 and, of course, the factory is fully ISO9001 accredited.
