5 Tonne Ratchet Straps
GTF® manufacture a range of 50mm 5 tonne (5000kgs) ratchet straps are used in the haulage industry, trains and shipping for lashing down loads. Our cargo tie down straps are manufactured to the European Standard EN12195-2 and made from high quality 50mm polyester webbing.
We are able to supply bespoke ratchet straps in all manner of sizes and colours, webbing can be printed with customer’s name and logo.
We can manufacture either 1 part endless straps or 2 part tie down straps with a variety of end fittings to choose from.
The advantages of using the GTF reverse action Heavy Duty Ratchet Straps is that the Ergo Ratchet Buckle allows the load to be tensioned by pulling the ratchet handle down. It has a longer handle than a standard ratchet buckle and thus allows for a higher tension force to be achieved.
GTF® Ergonomic 5 tonne Ratchet Straps are manufactured to the European Standard EN12195-2. The ratchet straps have a Lashing capacity of 2500Kgs (LC2500daN) and use 50mm polyester webbing.
The Fixed Ends and Adjustable Ends are marked with the manufacturers name, the lashing capacity, the strap length, the length of the strap, the manufactured date and the batch number for traceability.
We manufacture a ratchet strap that can be used to tension 10mm chain using our CL5050DF chain link.
