Round Rings

Fully welded steel Round Rings can be used for several functions but principally they are used as heavy duty curtain rings on curtain sided truck bodywork.  Side curtains are continually being opened and closed and are quite heavy in weight due to their construction.  They receive the full blast of the weather from searing sun to rain, mud, slush, snow and ice.  The 75mm diameter rings slide along a continuous pole running the full length of the body. Smaller 50 mm rings are used mainly as convenience end fittings and, for example, are sewn at the end of a lash being used with a one way buckle.  The ring enables the strap to be pulled tight against the buckle before it is locked.  Made by GT Factors in our own factory – GT Cargo Fittings.
