The DR5050DF a drop forged delta ring designed for 50mm webbing. The length of the delta is 80mm and has a breaking strength (BS) of 5000kg. The delta ring is used in the manufacture of cargo securing equipment and used in our range of 50mm ratchet straps. The hook is made from Carbon Steel and has a breaking strength (BS) of 5000Kg.
The delta ring meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the hook to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 25KN. This capacity is stamped on the hook together with the part number DR5050DF.
The DR5050DF drop forged delta ring is now only brought in to order. It has been mainly replaced by the DR5050W wire delta ring and the DR5050F pressed steel delta ring.
