The CB5014 is a heavy-duty cam buckle designed for 50mm webbing, with a breaking strength of 1400kg. It features a zinc alloy lever, a spring made from 1080 carbon steel, and a carbon steel base, ensuring maximum strength and durability.
Cam buckles provide a simple and effective way to secure cargo, offering easy adjustment and usability. The knurled edge on the release mechanism presses against the webbing, keeping it firmly in place. Unlike ratchet buckles, cam buckles can only be tensioned hand-tight, reducing the risk of damaging goods.
This is the heaviest cam buckle in our range. We also supply lightweight versions in 25mm and 35mm designs to accommodate different load requirements.
The CB5014 meets the requirements of the European Load Standard EN12195-2:2001, which specifies a lashing capacity of 700daN. This capacity is stamped on the buckle, along with the supplier’s name, GTF®, and the part number CB5014 for full traceability. The breaking strength of 1400kg represents the maximum load the buckle can withstand before failure.
Manufactured from carbon steel and zinc, the CB5014 cam buckle is designed for use with 50mm webbing. It has a lashing capacity of 700daN and weighs 244 grams.
GTF® is a UK manufacturer of webbing straps, and the CB5014 is used in the production of our bespoke straps.
