The FH2505 is a PVC coated pressed steel J hook designed for 25mm webbing. The length of the hook is 27mm and the curvature of the hook will allow it to fit on to a 5mm bar. The hook is used in the manufacture of cargo securing equipment and is used by GTF in the manufacture of its cargo restraint straps. The hook is made from carbon steel and then PVC coated and has a breaking strength (BS) of 500Kg.
The hook meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the hook to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 250daN. This capacity is stamped on the hook together with the part number FH2505P together with the suppliers name GTF for full traceability. (Markings may not be visible because of the thick PVC coating.
