The FH5030K is pressed steel hook designed for 50mm webbing. The hook is designed with a spring loaded safety catch that once engaged will not come detached; this offers a better level of security than standard hooks. The length of the hook is 75mm and the curvature of the hook will allow it to fit on to a 16mm bar. The hook is used extensively in the manufacture of cargo securing equipment and is used by GTF in the manufacture of its cargo restraint straps. The hook is made from carbon steel and has a breaking strength (BS) of 3000Kg.
The hook meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the hook to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 1500daN. This capacity is stamped on the hook together with the part number FH5030K together with the suppliers name GTF for full traceability.
The FH5030K is also available with out a safety catch, FH5030K. The FH5030K hook are used in our Hyster Yale gas bottle restraining straps.
