HDR5050

The HDR5050 is a wire rave hook designed for 50mm webbing. The length of the hook is 53mm and the diameter of the hook will allow it to fit on to a 11mm bar; the hook is made from 11mm diameter wire. The rave hook is used extensively in the manufacture of lorry straps and is manufactured by GTF® in its wholly owned factory in Noida, India (www.gtcfi.com).  The hook is made from boron alloy steel which gives it extra strength and durability. It has a breaking strength (BS) of 5000Kg. GTF also produce the HDR5050B rave hook which is similar to the HDR5050 but with retention bar to stop the hook being able to slide out of the strap.

The rave hook meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the hook to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 25kN. This capacity is stamped on the hook together with the part number HDR5050 and batch number therefore offering full traceability.

The HDR5050 rave hook is used in our range of 50mm ratchet straps. and as the name suggest fits onto the side rave of a vehicle or the chassis.  GTF also make rave hooks to fit different sizes of webbing.
