The PL0064 is a pear link hook designed for 50mm and 75mm webbing. It is drop forged and the length of the link is 126mm . The pear link is used extensively in the manufacture car recovery J Hook assemblies. The hook is made from alloy steel which gives it extra strength and durability. It has a breaking strength (BS) of 6400Kg.
The wire hook meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the hook to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 32kN. This capacity is stamped on the hook together with the part number PL0064 and batch number therefore offering full traceability.
The PL0064 is used for load restraint only. We also supply a J Hook which is used to make the J Hook Assembly.
