The RB5050LOK-BK is a long wide-handled epoxy black-coated ratchet buckle with a locking ratchet mechanism, designed for use with 50mm webbing. It has a breaking strength of 5000kg and features an aluminium handle for ease of operation.
The base of the ratchet includes a 10mm hole, allowing it to be securely bolted to permanent structures. This makes it ideal for fixed restraint systems. The RB5050LOK-BK is commonly used for restraining lorry straps in road transport.
The RB5050LOK-BK meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001, which specifies a lashing capacity of 25kN (2500kg). This capacity is stamped on the ratchet, along with the supplier’s name, GTF®, and the part number RB5050LOK-BK for full traceability. The breaking strength of 5000kg is also marked, indicating the maximum load the buckle can withstand before failure.
Manufactured from carbon steel, the RB5050LOK-BK is designed for use with 50mm webbing. It has a lashing capacity of 25kN and weighs 1110 grams (1.110kg).
The RB5050LOK-BK ratchet is used in our range of Heavy Duty Ratchet Straps. GTF® also provides a selection of end fittings that can be bolted directly onto the ratchet, as well as a range of 50mm polyester webbing that can be used in conjunction with this ratchet buckle.
