The SHOOK2508 plastic coated hook designed for 25mm webbing. The length of the hook is 108mm and the diameter of the hook will allow it to fit on to a 24mm bar. The S Hook is used extensively in the manufacture of cargo securing equipment and because of the plastic coating it prevents damage to whatever it is being fixed on to. The hook is made from 40ACR alloy steel and then PVC Coated. It has a breaking strength (BS) of 800Kg.
The wire hook meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the hook to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 400daN.
The SHOOK2508 is also available in 1500kg breaking strength without plastic coating SHOOK2515.
