The TBS5010 is a pressed steel Cranked Three Bar Slider designed for 50mm webbing. The length of three bar slider is 41mm, the total width is 71mm is made from 40mn carbon steel and has a breaking strength (BS) of 1000kg. The three bar slider is cranked so as to allow a higher breaking strength before the webbing starts to slide.
The three bar slider meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the hook to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 500daN stamped on the hook together with the suppliers name and the part number TBS5010. The snap hook is used extensively in the manufacture of cargo securing internal vertical straps inside side curtain vehicles.
