The CB2504 is a cam buckle designed for 25mm webbing, with a breaking strength of 400kg. It is made from zinc alloy, with a spring constructed from 1080 carbon steel. A zinc brightener is added to give the buckle a shiny finish.
Cam buckles provide a simple and effective way to secure cargo, allowing for easy adjustment and use. The knurled edge on the release mechanism presses against the webbing, ensuring it stays firmly in place. Unlike ratchet buckles, cam buckles can only be tensioned hand-tight, helping to prevent damage to goods.
This buckle meets the requirements of the European Load Standard EN12195-2:2001, which specifies a lashing capacity of 200daN. This capacity is stamped on the buckle, along with the supplier’s name, GTF®, and the part number CB2504 for full traceability. The breaking strength of 400kg represents the maximum load the buckle can withstand before failure.
The CB2504 cam buckle is manufactured from zinc and is designed for use with 25mm webbing. It has a lashing capacity of 200daN and weighs 60 grams.
The CB2504 buckle is used in GTF®’s range of CB25 25mm Cam Buckle Straps. GTF® also offers a selection of 25mm end fittings and 25mm polyester webbing that can be used in conjunction with the CB2504 buckle.
