The RB5050LOK is a long wide-handled ratchet buckle with a locking ratchet mechanism, designed for use with 50mm webbing. It has a breaking strength of 5000kg and features a durable aluminium handle for ease of operation.
The base of the ratchet includes a 10mm hole, allowing it to be securely bolted to permanent structures. This makes it an ideal choice for applications requiring a fixed restraint system. The RB5050LOK is commonly used for restraining lorry straps in road transport.
The RB5050LOK meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001, which specifies a lashing capacity of 25kN (2500kg). This capacity is stamped on the ratchet, along with the supplier’s name, GTF®, and the part number RB5050LOK for full traceability. The breaking strength of 5000kg is also marked, indicating the maximum load the buckle can withstand before failure.
Manufactured from carbon steel, the RB5050LOK is designed for use with 50mm webbing. It has a lashing capacity of 25kN and weighs 930 grams (0.930kg).
A non-Locking version of this ratchet is also available.
The RB5050LOK ratchet is used in our range of Heavy Duty Ratchet Straps. GTF® also provides a selection of end fittings that can be bolted directly onto the ratchet, as well as a range of 50mm polyester webbing that can be used in conjunction with this ratchet buckle.
