The RL50H 316SS is a 50mm stainless steel ratchet tie down strap with wire hooks, rated to a breaking strength of 3000kg. Manufactured in the UK, it is built for use in harsh environments where exposure to saltwater, chemicals, or corrosive substances is common—making it ideal for marine, industrial, or food-grade applications.
This ratchet strap complies with European Standard EN12195-2 and achieves a lashing capacity (LC) of LC1500daN (1500kg). The LC represents the maximum force that can safely be applied in a straight pull. Stock lengths are available in 4m, 6m, 8m, 10m, 12m, and 14m, each with a fixed end length of 0.4m.
The strap uses black polyester webbing, sewn with heavy-duty Number 6 polyester thread. The ratchet buckle, including the pressed handle, is made entirely from marine grade 316 stainless steel. The wire hooks are made from 304 stainless steel, offering excellent strength and corrosion resistance.
Custom sizes and colours are available upon request, and a printing service is offered to add your name or logo to the webbing. GTF is ISO9001 certified, and all components are clearly marked for full traceability in accordance with European load restraint regulations.
