The SSH2505 is a pressed steel Swivel Snap Hook designed for 25mm webbing. The hook is designed with a spring loaded safety catch that once engaged will not come detached; this offers a better level of security than standard hooks. The length of the hook is 73mm and the diameter of the hook will allow it to fit on to a 10mm bar. The hook is made from SPHC-HR carbon steel and has a breaking strength (BS) of 500kg.
The snap hook meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the hook to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 250daN stamped on the hook together with the suppliers name and the part number SSH2505.
