Lifting Slings

G T Factors supply a complete range of Lifting Slings in polyester to EN1492-1:2000 and Round Slings to EN1492-2: 2000 with a safety factor of 7:1. Our range of webbing slings are made from high tenacity Polyester Yarn and are colour coded to show the Safe Working Load Limit, as shown in the chart below.

All Webbing Slings are made with Re-Enforced Becket Eyes as standard. The sling label is PVC laminated to protect it from the elements. Bespoke Webbing Slings can be manufactured to customer requirements.

We also manufacture Simplex (Single Ply) and Endless Webbing Slings to EN-1492:2000.

All our Polyester Slings are manufactured at our Eastbourne factory.

Disposable Slings – One Trip Slings

G T Factors manufactures disposable cargo slings to the British Standard to BS3481-3. These are made from High Tenacity Polyester Yarn and have a safety factor of 5:1. These multiple lift one way slings are used for the loading and unloading of cargo at intermediate drops until they are off loaded at there final destination; where the supplier of the cargo’s liability will cease and the slings destroyed.

Popular sizes of One Way Slings include our 25mm 250Kgs sling, 35mm 500Kgs sling and 50mm 1500Kgs sling. Safe Working Load (SWL) for our One Way Slings is 5:1.
